The Widow and the Lettré.
It is a theater built on ambiguities, stratagems, burning loves, small cowards, desire.
It is a text that offers the actors a score made of emotion, parody, humor.
It is sung, danced, played by remarkable actors with one of the greatest actresses in China at their head. Nanyin, the delicate music of southern China, surrounds the room like a caress.
No folklore, but a theater lesson where everything is in its place: music, sets, costumes, lights and of course, the actors. All that produces contradiction in us is restored with elegance, safety, talent: modesty, desire, humiliation, revolt, violence, love.
