Symposium – Cernuschi Museum and National Gallery Singapore “Asian Artists in Paris: New Narratives”

Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 13:30 p.m. to 17:00 p.m. (19:30 p.m. – Singapore time).

This program will present a sharing of research between two related exhibitions. Lê Phô, Mai-Thu, Vu Cao Dam. Pioneers of modern Vietnamese art in France » which is being held at the Cernuschi Museum until May 4, 2025, and “ City of Others: Asian Artists in Paris, 1920s-1940s » which will be held at the National Gallery Singapore, from 2 April to 17 August 2025. The presentations will highlight the curatorial concerns of both exhibitions, while highlighting specific areas of new research and conceptualisations generated by these two events.
