Return of the Dragons
On July 25, 2023, the Buddha room (Kwok room) and the entire route of the permanent collections of the Cernuschi museum reopen to the public, after six months of closure for thermal renovation works. Improvements to the roof have been made to reinforce the building's insulation and significantly improve the museum's energy balance.
To mark this reopening, the Buddha room also unveils a monumental wooden sculpture of nearly twelve meters representing dragons.
