Qiulin ZHANG performs regularly on the biggest international stages such as the Paris Opera, the Royal Albert Hall in London,

the Théâtre du Châtelet and the Beijing Opera in many roles of the operatic repertoire including Suzuki (Madame Butterfly), Carmen, Erda (Siegfried), Ulrica (A ballo in maschera) and many others.

Born in China, Duanduan HAO began studying piano at the age of four and six years later, joined the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
At fourteen, he played Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. He has accumulated an impressive number of prizes in international competitions including the Second Prize (First Prize not awarded) of the 63th Geneva International Competition in 2008.

This recital is for the benefit of Couleurs de Chine, a sponsorship association promoting the education of children (mainly girls) of the Miao, Dong and Yao minorities in Guangxi province.
