1992: Lian type vase, bronze, South China

Eastern Han Era (25 - 220), MC 9892.

H. 0,323; L. 0,254; P.: 0,253 Southern China. Beginning of the 1th century. Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) MC 9892. Donation of the Antoni Laurent Foundation with a complement of the Society of Friends of the Cernuschi Museum. This lian is part of a particular production characterized by a light green alloy and a fine decoration, which one would think incised, distributed over well-defined registers, separated by molded bands sometimes bearing geometric decorations. Archaeologists attribute to these pieces a southern origin (Hunan, Guizhou or Guangdong provinces).
