The spectacular exhibition by artist Chen Jialing: “A life by the river” at the Cordeliers refectory

For very first exhibition by Chinese artist Chen Jialing, the Réfectoire des Cordeliers, will present a selection of forty of his works. Polyptychs and ink paintings, but also calligraphies, tapestries and ceramics, will take over the Cordeliers heritage space for the occasion. This exhibition event is an opportunity to discover a major artist, yet little-known in France, but also an exceptional place in the heart of Paris.

The exhibition is held within the framework of 60 years of diplomatic relations between France and China. It highlights the work of a major artist in China, an eminent figure of the Shanghai School.
