Stéphanie Homola's work on the circulation of knowledge between France and China in the 20th century^th  century focus on the cross-understanding of the notion of science in the exchanges between French scholars (notably from the IHEC, Institute of Higher Chinese Studies, in Paris) and Chinese scholars present in France in the 1920s and 1930s.
