Red China in black and white
⽊刻⼑下的紅⾊歷史
is the title of the exhibition organized by René Viénet and that of the film on Hu Jie 胡杰 by Bertrand Renaudineau. The exhibition of Hu Jie's works will be supplemented by around fifty engravings from the 1930s-1940s from the Lu Xun collection (more recent prints) which inspired him, on loan from the Courdimanche town hall.

The research project on Hu Jie (highlighting his production as an engraving artist and director of documentary films) is directed by René Viénet, with the collaboration of Ulysse Dylan and Marie Laureillard.
