KIM TSCHANG-YEUL – THE DROP AND THE LINE

The Cernuschi Museum will present an exhibition dedicated to Kim Tschang-Yeul (1929-2021), a major figure in contemporary Korean art and the international art scene.
This painter is now known worldwide for his trompe-l'oeil representations of drops of water. The exhibition The drop and the line will be more particularly dedicated to the Chinese characters which are associated with this motif in a recurring way in the work of the master.
