Ma Desheng exhibition - From the stars to the present day

Founder of the "Stars", the first group of contemporary Chinese artists created in Beijing in 1979, Ma Desheng exhibits today at the Departmental Domain of Chamarande and invests all the rooms of the castle to celebrate its 40 years of course.
The exhibition invites us to discover 40 works revealing the commitment of an artist fighting for freedom and love, struggling day after day against the disease of arthritis, repairing the wounds of his life after a serious car accident. A tribute to the work of Henri Matisse, suffering from the same disease.
