During the summer of 2016, the doors of ancient Korea opened at the Adrien Dubouché National Museum, through the figure of a passionate traveler: Victor Collin de Plancy (1853-1922), First Consul of France in Korea.
“Korea, 1886. Novel of a traveler” offers to discover an ancient and refined culture thanks to the objects brought back by the passionate discoverers who were the first diplomats and the travelers of the XIXe century.
The exhibition brings together photographs, furniture and an exceptional set of ceramics from the Ve century to the present day. It evokes the country and its art of living and invites you to dive into the fascinating universe of XNUMXth Korea.e century.
