Cocktail party for the Lunar New Year

On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the Friends gathered in the prestigious Great Buddha Hall to celebrate the Lunar New Year, of the sign of the fire horse, under the chairmanship of Robert Lavayssière. Éric Lefèbvre and the curators honored us with their presence, which allowed for interesting and engaging discussions with the participants. Our chairman spoke about the events that took place during the other years of the cheval and the upcoming trip to Laos, while Éric Lefèbvre expressed his satisfaction with the close collaboration between the SAMC and the museum and thanked the assembly for the donations made over the past few years. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful and excellent buffet. The Friends took advantage of this moment to view, in the painting gallery, the exhibition in homage to Park In-Kyung, on the occasion of the centenary of this great and discreet Korean artist, wife of Master Lee Ungno, an internationally renowned artist well-known to the Cernuschi Museum.
