CHU Teh-Chun (ZHU Dequn), Chinese naturalized Chinese artist, is the first person of Asian origin to become a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts of the Institut de France. He has been recognized as "the most successful artist to merge the finesse of oriental art with the power of Western painting".
