Chen Zhen: Resonances

from October 18 to 4 December 2022.

For its new presentation of contemporary art, the Cernuschi museum is hosting works by the artist Chen Zhen (1955-2000) in the Buddha room this fall.

The "Resonances" exhibition proposes to forge links between two works by Chen Zhen, Dialogue et Void Cocoon. From sound to silence, from movement to immobility, from visible to invisible, the two installations respond to each other within the space of the Buddha room, in the heart of the Cernuschi museum.

Dated 1999 and 2000 respectively, Dialogue et Void Cocoon correspond to the height of Chen Zhen's creative activity. Twenty years after their completion, they have lost none of their topicality.
